Good morning!

I’ve been up since 5 a.m. working. Now I’m teaching myself how to use a Dremel drill press. I bought it a few years ago to destroy some hard drives but never did so I’m doing it now. I’m trying to follow the diagrams and figure out how to get the drill bit in there … everything takes time …

The recipes I saved yesterday are for popovers, cornbread, biscuits, soda bread, scones, biscotti, lemon ring, classic diner pancakes, cinnamon rolls, apple cake, pecan pie, oatmeal raisin cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting. These are my favorites and make for a homey home.

You’re supposed to drink at least 2 quarts of water a day on the new drug. I barely manage two cups. So I’ve been training myself the past two weeks to drink more decaf tea and coffee. I have to get up to 8 cups a day. I like a very strong decaf, black tea (so I can add milk and it won’t turn milky grey) and have been trying different brands. I’ve settled on Typhoo – the tea stays nice and dark even with a little milk. I drink my morning tea plain but, in the afternoon, I like a little milk.

OK. Back to my Dremel – hope I can figure it out!
